We took the room where Rene stayed most on his winter retreats in Northern Kerala.
Though our motives were mixed, our aims were specific. We had come on a formal fact-finding tour to track the impressions and traces of data with regard to the tenuous details surrounding the demise of René Laubies on 13 November 2006 at Wenlock Hospital, Mangalore; and what is more, to hermeneutically decipher the seaside villages of Kotikulam, Palakunnu and sumptuous Kappil Beach. We would furthermore explore a train-hour north around the seaside communities of Manjeshwar, Kanwatirtha and Bangra.
